Im a Wes erner

The big difference between the steriotypical westerner and the other guy is that westerners tend not to think about philosophy to much. Us westenerners are way to busy to sit down and say things that contradict eachother. What is the point of that? Making yourself think more? Crazy Talk! Its also very forgien to sit down and wonder about other people in other places. Westerners are so caught up in the here, the now and the bright shinny object were all striving to reach, that we dont really think about other cultural mentality.

Its hard for us to think that while something is wholy and saint like, there is still sin within that person. Its hard for us to think that something good can also be something bad. Someone doing good my have urges to do something corrupt. When I was reading Siddhartha it totaly blew my mind when the monk bacame a merchant, a lover and a dice player. Even while Siddhartha was a brahman, and wholy man, he bacame a sinner.
